Curiosity, exhilaration and euphoria

“I attended a workshop, the Art of Persuasion and Imagining the Future in Berlin. I hadn't realised until I got there a group hypnotism would be involved, I expected a meditation, so I shrugged but then jumped aboard rather clumsily to make the most of the experience.

To be frank, I didn't really hope for hypnotism to be life-changing or miraculous, since it hadn't been a field I had been deeply interested in so far. During the first moments of a hypnotism I wondered whether I got "there" or it was my idea. I suppose the defence mechanisms vary in each person, however, sometimes a persistent resistance will result in a fiercer liberation.

I don't like puns so I wouldn't like to call it a mind-bending experience, despite the fact it was one, but it was an (inner) eye-opening one as well. Danny smoothly and gently guided us to our exalted state of being with all his patience and care, he pinpointed, explained and analyzed the techniques of the Art of persuasion with truthfulness and subtle humour, transmuting my nervousness into a newfound curiosity, exhilaration and dare I say healing, my destabilisation into euphoria, a more profound centeredness, which still lasts and thankfully permutes the borders of the material world. I guess to recommend a session with Danny would be reductive after all the above, but I'd rather just say it would be a gift.
